If you need emergency care from a dentist, you've come to the right place. We offer immediate urgent dental appointments as a one-stop solution for pain relief and urgent dental issues. Even if it's a weekend and you need antibiotics, we have you covered!
We're open until 9pm on Saturday and Sunday at our Mawney Road practice in Romford, with weekday emergency appointments available across all five of our clinics. All you need to do is phone and ask us for an emergency appointment as a private patient or you can even book online – even if you're not registered as a patient with us.

When is Essex Family Dental open for urgent dental care?
Not all dental treatments can be planned for so, when emergencies happen, our dentists are here to help you. Not only do we offer urgent same day appointments from 10am-5.30pm during the week, we’re also open over the weekend. We’re open from 10am-9.30pm every Saturday and Sunday to ensure you receive the treatment you need as quickly as possible. We’re one of the only clinics open on a Sunday in the Havering, Barking and Dagenham area, so instead of waiting in pain for an appointment on Monday and taking time away from your busy work week, let us deal with the problem right away for you.
What emergency dental issues can be treated?
Whether you’re in sudden pain from toothache or you need to see a dentist urgently because your dental crown has fallen out right before a big event, don’t worry - we’re here to help you. We’ll first do everything possible to get you out of pain during your emergency care appointment, after which your dentist will advise you of any additional treatment you may need. In many circumstances your dentist will be able to complete your emergency care on the same day. Tooth pain can be debilitating, so we’d like to help you feel better and carry on with your day as soon as we can.

We offer emergency dental care at all of our Essex Family Dental clinics. You can attend an urgent appointment at any of our surgeries, with weekend appointments also available at our centrally located clinic on Mawney Road in Romford. You'll be seen by an emergency care dentist in no time at all.
How much does an emergency appointment cost?
Appointments cost £50 during the week and from £65 at weekends. If further appointments are required, your dentist will discuss a suitable treatment plan with you and offer advice on required treatments.
